Loren Pola
Supply Chain Coordinator
Before involving himself in Philadelphia’s food scene, Loren had been farming all over the northeast for nearly a decade. Experienced in both organic vegetable production as well as being a skilled herdsman, his additional talent in computer science made him a valuable asset as the Produce Procurement & Planning Manager for Philly Foodworks. During his time in that position, Loren built strong working relationships with a vast network of local farmers, eventually culminating in his move to partner with Reuben in the building of a Food Hub.
Reuben Riehl
Aggregation Hub Manager
Like many members of his community, Reuben is a produce farmer, dairy farmer, herdsman, carpenter, and much more… the very definition of jack of all trades. He and his wonderful family have been providing food to Philadelphia for decades. Their farm has been a hub for farmers to aggregate their products since 2012 when they became one of the first farms to supply Philly Foodworks. Reuben and Loren had been working together for years as producer and buyer and now work side by side to grow and deliver the best local food their network of farms have to offer.
